What’s one thing you would not expect to find in Japan? Nazi’s

Sure enough on a walk around Akihabara (home of electronics, manga and maid cafes) we found replica gun stores and shops that sold ridiculous amounts of Nazi paraphernalia. I had that moment of thinking, “what is this place?” and “how do I get out of here?”. (not necessarily in that order)

Those are all gun accessories, or I should say replica gun accessories. And judging by the people in the store, which was surprisingly full, I have no idea what they were buying them for. Maybe on weekends they walk around their apartment dressed in the military gear they also sold in the stores and played soldier. It was a weird experience. Sadly, this was the more comforting store given that this was the store without all the Nazi uniforms and patches.
